High School

Welcome to the Protagonist High School, an establishment of knowledge, culture, love, hope, and trust. 

Our High School was opened in 2012. With one class, despite only being a few students, a successful path opened to educate the next generations with a spirit of love. The High School generates real protagonists, with the care and blessings of His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios. 

The class of 2014-2015 was the first senior class of the Protagonist High School to successfully pass the State Exams (100%). At the time, the total number of students numbered 41,in three classes.

The High School is located on the 6^th floor of our contemporary school building. The classrooms have been made suitable for effective education. Also on the premises of the school are: a substantial library, laboratories of the Foreign Language departments, and a field for Physical Education. 

The 2017-2018 school year started with 160 students in eight classes. One year later (2018-2019), one more class were added, bringing the total to nine classes: 3 classes for the 10^th grade, 3 classes for the 11^th grade, and 3 classes for the 12^th grade. 

The increasing number of students and the excellent performance of the Protagonist High School is due to the care and work of the school’s Principal, the devotion and experience of the teachers, the effective collaboration with the parents, and the distinguished cohesion of the school environment. 

 

It is with great pleasure I greet you and welcome you to the Protagonist School website.  We are eager to share our unique approach to education.  We respect and care deeply about our students and value them, understanding that each has his or her individual experience, interests and talents.  Our staff works together with students and parents in an effective cooperation that reflects the best interest for our students.

We have enjoyed an excellent reputation since the school was opened in 2002.  We began with 15 students and this past school year we had 640  students attend Protagonist School.  This year we have about 762 students. Our parents are our best advertisement as the continual growth and success of the school is a reflection of their satisfaction and positive endorsement in the community.  Our teaching staff is with a high level of experience and qualifications.  The school strives to provide teacher training that instruct teachers in the latest methods and materials being used in the West.  Our Character Program which is used throughout the school is a plus that also makes us unique.  We have received very positive feedback from parents as to its value and importance.

Dear Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers, and Dedicated People of our School,

The Protagonist School is a hearth of knowledge, culture, love, and respect. But most importantly, it also conforms to the mission statement of our educational institution: our school prepares the next generations with love and hope for a brighter and confident future. This is the vision which is supported by His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios. Our Honorable President, Archbishop Anastasios, is an inspiration and support in our path of knowledge. 

One of the strongest pillars of our institution is the Elementary School  which we provide to all students. We grew up slowly but confident on our path. In 2002, we started with only one class of 15 students in 1^st grade. Today, we have up to four classes for the 1^st and 2^nd grades. These were the first swallows that brought spring to our school; a generation that has honored the name of the Protagonist School wherever they have gone. 

The high quality of teaching, love, and care of the staff has made the consistent growth of this school possible. Not only the growth in the number of students, but also in the quality of their work. The overall grade point averages throughout the years, in the primary classes are high, compared even to the other schools throughout Albania. This data is confirmed by the Regional Education Department, the Ministry of Education, and all dependent institutions. One of the highest and positive ratings of our school was the results from the VANAF of the 5^th grade students (2015-2016; 2016-2017). 

Another important aspect that we would like to share with you is the new curriculum that is strictly applied in our school. It is based on different training sessions from specialists in the elementary education field. The educational staff of the school shows continuous devotion to the students, through their qualifications and trainings that they have attended individually and as a school. 

The elementary teachers rely strongly on the collaboration of the triad: Teachers-School-Parents. The teachers collaborate with the student’s families not only the advancement of the students, but also for the obstacles they confront.

Kopshti ynë ndodhet pranë Kishës së Ungjillëzimit në Rrugën e Kavajës, në një godinë bashkëkohore.

Ambienti është përshtatur me kujdes dhe dashuri të veçantë për 216 fëmijët e rregjistruar në të dhe të ndarë në tre grupe. Kopshti drejtohet nga një staf i kualifikuar që punojnë me përkushtim dhe dashuri.

Çdo grup ka mësuesen e vet, madje kopshti ka dhe dy ndihmëse të cilat kujdesen në çdo kohë për nevojat e fëmijëve.

Ushqimi është i shumëllojshëm, gjithashtu ofrohet dhe fjetje për ata fëmijë që kanë nevojë.

Programi  në kopshtin tonë është i larmishëm.

Mësimi zhvillohet sipas standarteve të miratuara nga MASH. Mësuesit trajnohen dhe rritin kapacitetin e tyre në mënyrë të vazhdueshme.

Më e rëndësishmja është që në kopshtin tonë të gjithë fëmijët pa asnjë dallim kanë mundësi të zhvillojnë aftësitë dhe talentet e tyre të veçanta.

Brenda programit përfshihet mësimi i gjuhës angleze, lojëra, ekskursione, punë artistike e të tjera gjëra këto që i ndihmojnë fëmijët edhe të mësojnë edhe të kalojnë kohë në mënyrë ndërtuese dhe argëtuese.
